Been interesting though going backwards through the web this way though.

I also was not aware that this game of tag had rules until I got to your blog! I have not tagged 5 people either yet...

It is cool that you your husband, your sister and your flatmate all worked in the same bookshop. Situational comedy script in that surely...Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04066002056854677382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33579237.post-76537515326603148082008-04-07T03:25:00.000+10:002008-04-07T03:25:00.000+10:00Wow, we have a few things in common: 1) I HATE coo...Wow, we have a few things in common: 1) I HATE cooking lol, 2) I was diagnosed as an adult with a mental disorder (in my case, it was not Asperger's but "unusually hyper-active" ADHD at 23), and 3) I have yet to get my license as well.

Sometimes I wonder how my life would have been if I'd been diagnosed sooner and had been put on medication before now. ADHD was actually one of the causes of my inability to learn how to drive, so I wonder if/when I will ever get my license. I'm glad you guys found out early in life that your child has a disorder so you can seek help and allow him/her to lead a less difficult life.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33579237.post-92227450646678591882008-04-03T23:39:00.000+11:002008-04-03T23:39:00.000+11:00Oh wow, I'm so jealous ... you have no. 5 ...Haha,...Oh wow, I'm so jealous ... you have no. 5 ...

Haha, yes, we are a romantic movie.

Oh, you know, the AS is not so bad ... just odd I guess, an odd thing to discover about yourself when you are 32.Arielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17570339715916432947noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33579237.post-15413394055198468962008-04-01T18:56:00.000+11:002008-04-01T18:56:00.000+11:00Crikey! Maybe you and I can shack up together in such idyllic surrounds in our old age.
Of course, I don't cook either so I guess we'll both be eating a lot of homemade pizzas (if we still have our teeth) and some ready frozen meals. Fingers crossed they have meals in a pill by then. That way we can spend all our efforts on reading and rowdy games of gin rummy (taking the gin literally of course... and maybe the rum...).

I must say no.4 made me smile. Lovely! And bookstores! Is like a romantic movie! (You've Got Mail perhaps... only better.)

And with the A.S., I think it's good you don't think about it too much. We put labels on so many things today; things which in the old days were merely personality traits! Soon none of us will be individuals, just diagnoses! Not good to feel you're defined by such things.

Thanks for the tag!! I will ponder away now...eleanor bloomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11642298362764360355noreply@blogger.com
